I’m moving from another province.
What is the process for registering my residency in Xianning?

Upon arrival, you must register your household registration (hukou) at the local public security bureau. You’ll need proof of residence, a lease or property deed, and identification documents. The process typically takes a few weeks, and the bureau provides guidance on required forms and timelines.
A starting point only — it may be incomplete or out of date. Check official sources for anything important, and add your own answer if you know Xianning.
