I need to know how easy it is to get around without a car.
What public transport options are available for commuting in Hangzhou?
1 Answer
Hangzhou offers a comprehensive public transit network that includes buses, a growing metro system, and bike‑sharing programs. Buses cover most districts and run frequently, while the metro provides rapid transit across key commercial and residential areas. Bike‑sharing services are widespread, especially in the city center, offering a convenient and eco‑friendly way to navigate short distances. For detailed route maps and schedules, consult the city’s transit authority website or use popular navigation apps that integrate local public transport data.
