I have a background in IT and want to know if there are opportunities here.
What kinds of jobs are available in Avallon?
1 Answer
Avallon’s job market is diverse, with opportunities in local services, small manufacturing, agriculture, and tourism. The region also hosts several small to medium‑sized enterprises that may need IT support. While large tech firms are scarce, the local economy supports roles in customer service, retail, hospitality, and public administration. Networking through local business associations or online job portals that list openings in the Bourgogne‑Franche‑Comté area can help you find suitable positions.
