We have kids aged 5 and 8 and want a curriculum similar to other Indian private schools.
Are there good English‑medium schools for primary children in Jalpaiguri?
1 Answer
Jalpaiguri offers several English‑medium schools that follow the state board or national curricula such as CBSE and ICSE. These schools typically provide classes from kindergarten through higher secondary, with emphasis on language, mathematics, science and extracurricular activities. Facilities often include libraries, computer labs and playgrounds. Admission procedures usually require submission of previous school records, a personal interview and a modest fee structure. For the most up‑to‑date information on school rankings, fee ranges and enrollment dates, consult the district education department’s website or the state board’s portal, which list all recognized institutions and their contact details.
