I need to commute for work twice a week.
How reliable is public transport between Shantipur and Kolkata?
1 Answer
Public transport options include state-run buses and shared auto-rickshaws that connect Shantipur to Kolkata. Bus schedules are generally regular, but travel times can vary with traffic, especially during peak hours. Shared auto services offer more flexible timings but may be less predictable. For daily commuting, you might consider a personal vehicle or a rideshare arrangement. Checking the city transit authority’s timetable and traffic updates will help you plan efficient routes.
