I have a background in hospitality and want to find work.
What are the main industries hiring in Dumaguete right now?
1 Answer
The hospitality sector, especially hotels, restaurants, and tourism services, is a major employer in Dumaguete. Additionally, the city’s growing educational institutions and healthcare facilities offer positions in administration, teaching, and nursing. Small businesses and retail also seek staff, especially during the peak tourist season. Job seekers often find openings through local newspapers, online job portals, and university career centers. Networking at community events and industry meetups can also lead to opportunities.
