How does the town government engage with residents on local issues?

Brookline operates a council‑manager form of government with regular town‑meeting sessions, board hearings, and public workshops where residents can voice opinions on zoning, budgeting, and public services. Meeting agendas, minutes, and livestreams are posted on the town’s official website, and newsletters provide updates on upcoming events. Citizens can also join advisory committees or volunteer for community projects coordinated by the town’s various departments. To stay informed and participate, subscribe to the municipal email list, attend quarterly town‑meeting sessions, and monitor the website’s civic‑engagement section for opportunities.
