I have a background in manufacturing and logistics.
What industries dominate the job market in Allentown?
1 Answer
Allentown’s economy has a strong manufacturing base, especially in light industrial sectors, and a growing logistics and distribution presence due to its central location in the region. The city also hosts a mix of service‑related jobs, including healthcare, education, and retail. Professionals with manufacturing and logistics experience often find opportunities in local factories, distribution centers, and supply‑chain firms. Job boards and the city’s economic development portal list current openings and industry trends.
